BOOKINGS

How do I purchase a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased online and on arrival from the Admissions desk.
For our best available rate, tickets can be purchased online the day prior to travel.

Are bookings required?

Show

A booking date is required when purchasing online.
We also welcome walk up guests, tickets can be purchased from the Admissions desk on arrival. 

Do I need to book an arrival time?

Show

An arrival time is not required for your visit, guests are welcome to arrive from 12pm to our last entry for General Admission tickets and from 12pm to 2 hours prior to our last entry for Admission and Experiences package tickets. For operating hours click here.

Can I add an experience when I arrive?

Experiences can be purchased either from our Admissions desk, the Voyager Theatre or Photoshop on level 88. An Admission ticket is required to purchase an experience.

I already have a ticket; how do I redeem it?

Melbourne Skydeck Website – Please refer to your e-ticket Plan Your Visit and On The Day details.

Third-party Website – Please proceed to our Admissions Desk with your printed or e-ticket, where our team will help redeem your ticket.

Gift Voucher – Please proceed to our Admissions Desk with your voucher details, where our team will help redeem your voucher.

I booked the wrong date or want to change my booking date, what do I do?

 As long as you have purchased through our website our team can assist. If you have booked directly with Melbourne Skydeck, please log into the Manage Booking portal click here to adjust your departure date where terms and conditions permit. You will need to enter your 7-digit booking reference and the email address used to make your booking.

If you have booked with a third-party supplier (ticket agent online or in-person), please contact your agent to make any adjustments.  

How do I book for a Carer/Companion?

A person accompanying someone with a disability, who holds a valid WeCare, Carer Card or Companion Card, is entitled to free General Admission to the attraction. Please present the card upon arrival at the Admissions desk for our team to process a ticket.

Can I purchase an experience only?

Show

A General Admission ticket is required to access our additional experiences including Voyager Theatre and The Edge.  If you already have a General Admission ticket and want to purchase an additional experience, this can be processed on arrival.

What concession cards are accepted?

We accept Australian Health Care Cards, Australian Pension Cards, Australian Seniors Cards, Australian Student Cards, and International Student Cards. Please present your card on the day of your arrival.

Can I book a time for the Edge in advance?

A time cannot be booked for the Edge, the wait time for this experience is available upon arrival.

Purchase an Edge Express Pass for $10 per person and skip the queue!
You will be called for your Edge ride within 30 minutes of being added to the virtual wait queue and being handed an electronic buzzer. Find out more. 

Can I leave and come back again on the same ticket (pass out)?

No, your ticket is only valid for a one-time entry. You cannot return on the same ticket. A Sun and Stars upgrade ticket can be purchased prior to exiting, click here for more info.  

Is there a minimum age for the Skydeck and experiences?

Guests 12 years and under require a parent or guardian present. If you do have concerns about this, please call our team on 03 9693 8888.

Are you Wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Melbourne Skydeck is wheelchair friendly. Our experiences including, VR Voyager Theatre and Edge Experience are also wheelchair accessible. Find out more. 

I have lost an item, what do I do?

Please call our team on 03 9693 8888 or email [email protected] with details of your item.

Lost property remains on site for 30 days before being donated or disposed of and we take no responsibility for items left behind at the venue.

Is there food and drinks available?

Bar 88 is located on the Skydeck and offers a range of cocktails, fine wines, coffee or soft drink and a range of gourmet pastries including pies and sausage rolls, sandwiches are also available.

What items are not permitted in the Edge?

Show

All loose items including but not limited to phones, cameras, food, drink and prams are not permitted in the Edge. Prior to your Edge ride, our team will ask you to place your items in the allocated storage area.

Can I bring in my own/external food or drinks?

Show

No external food or alcoholic beverages are permitted.
